Her wedding really was spectacular, but the florist must have forgotten about the date because he created much smaller bouquets than agreed, delivered the wrong reception centerpieces and failed to coordinate with the baker to place layers of flowers in between the cake tiers (see picture on “Shop” page); the custom chair linen and sashes arrived late in the wrong color; and, the venue did not completely set the tables leaving it to the family to finish just hours before the ceremony, nor did they serve the cake or put the favors out as contracted. Our mother still has boxes of personalized coffee mugs in her basement and I think she just threw out the two uneaten tiers of the cake just this summer!
After the wedding, I went to work orchestrating the return of monies paid under the contracts citing the respective vendors’ failure to provide the service agreed to, paid for and expected by my sister and her then fiancé.
